We recommend gentle handwashing or a cold wash cycle to preserve colour and texture. Avoid harsh detergents. Air dry to maintain the garment’s structure and quality. Each garment comes with a label with wash & care instructions stitched on for your convenience.

Can I return or exchange an item?

We accept exchanges only within the 3 days upon receiving the order, provided the item is unworn, unwashed, and in its original condition, and accompanied by a valid reason.

Why are your phinifas, skirts & dresses more expensive than industry average?

Ma’zwide Collective is a premium brand that makes high-quality garments. We only use superior, authentic shweshwe, which is a premium, locally produced fabric made with specialised printing techniques and 100% cotton, making it more costly than standard fabrics. It also requires skilled tailoring and careful pattern matching, which increases production time. The result is a high-quality, durable, culturally significant garment, reflected in the price.
